My spreadsheet isn't updating
If your Avery spreadsheet looks outdated, start with a manual refresh. Most update issues are fixed in a few clicks.
Before you start: Make sure you’re working in the Google Sheet that has Avery installed and that your bank account is already connected.
Refresh the spreadsheet manually
Open the Avery sidebar in your Google Sheet.
Click Import Transactions.
Wait for the import to finish, then check the sheet again.
If the data still looks stale after the import completes, turn on automatic updates.
Turn on automatic updates
Open the Avery sidebar.
Go to Quick Actions > Auto Update Settings.
Toggle the setting to On.
Select your preferred update time.
Save your changes.
Once auto-update is enabled, Avery updates transactions every 24 hours.
If a button keeps spinning
Spinning buttons usually happen when you are logged into multiple Google accounts. Check that the Gmail account in your browser matches the Google account used for the spreadsheet, then sign out of any other Google accounts if needed.
What to try next
After you update the sheet, look for new transactions or changed balances in the relevant Avery tabs. If the refresh still does not complete, the issue is usually with the account you are signed into rather than the update setting itself.
